I decided it was time to update and edit this post for a lot of reasons. In reviewing my original post, I think the concept of wealth was used interchangeably with the lifestyle, or the quality of living. I have been having a lot of these discussions lately with friends like my buddy James down in Grand Cayman, and my friend Juan here in Palm Beach….and my pal Ron down in Costa Rica.
We were watching the news today, and they were talking about a criminal gang from Venezuela which has effectively overrun an entire apartment complex in Auroroa, Colorado. Yes, here in the USA! Not some 3rd world nation, but right here in our own backyards. Ron sent this to me in a text message, saying “…The biggest crime made to cultures, has been the myopia of kindness and humanity towards migration, ignoring every criminological risk and neglecting the weaponization by foreign entities.” I am going to let that sink in as I update my post (original text will remain after this next section).
